HEY thats me!
After Finishing School, My Journey Into the World of Fashion Kicked Off With Pursuing a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Textile Engineering
This educational background set the stage for a career filled with creativity and unexpected twists, As you will read further.
My professional path took off with a position at an Italian lingerie company.
This role has not really honed my design skills since I felt like i had so much more potential.
After 8 months of working there, an interesting challenge presented itself, and I was tasked with creating outfits for the Miss and Mister Durres contest (between the years of 2013-2016).
Equipped with my underware material (yeah really), i somehow managed to create something out of nothing.
The outcome?
A collection of outfits that, despite their origins, dazzled on stage and won over the audience.
And that was the last call for me.
While taking classes on cutting and sewing, I opened my own business in the middle of Albania and applied everything I had gathered to create dresses for special occasions.
And?
Success!
Well a little bit at first, since people thought that i was too young to be a professional, but with time, 20h work days and a bunch of positivity. :^)
The word got around, and we were having more and more customers come into our shop.
After 4 years, I had to move to the USA, Michigan, and was forced to close down the business.
Before moving to the USA, i stayed in Albania at home for a year, and with the leftover materials, I continued to make dresses for little girls and ship them by myself.
The Scariest Thing That Ever Happened..
On the 26th october 2019 we had a project for a birthday that we had to finish the same day, i would have never guessed that, that would be one of the scariest day of my life. An earthquake with a magnitude 6.4 started at around my location,
The house next to us broke down, (our building got away with just some damages) Thinking back i find it funny that we didn’t stop the work on the dress, but that truly was scary!!
- PS: We got the dress done in time 💯
After that one year and that crazy experience had happened i moved to the USA and started to make dresses from there to ship them globally while the shop in albania continued to work locally.
Now?
We design, create, and ship from the shop in albania and are pretty good at that too, soooooo whats next?
If everything goes right, i will open shops in america to teach little princesses how to sow and create those types of dresses themself.
Crazy hugh?
